They liked games of running and jumping. They liked to box and to wrestle. They liked to race their horses, and they were good at using the sword. It is said that some of them could throw a spear better than any other people of that time. The Greeks were not only strong, they were good thinkers, too. They liked to write music and make poems. Sometimes they put the music and poems together to make plays. Every five years, at a little town called Olympia, the Greeks held a great contest to find out who were the strongest men in all Greece and who were the greatest thinkers.
